Often when just delivering flowers at an event, I get all excited and want to be involved. People sometimes stop me and ask for help because(!) I guess I just look the part. Also, thinking outside the box and problem solving comes naturally to me, important skills when events hit a snag. And they often do.
Consider this:
You will probably have more fun at your event if someone else is in charge of it on your behalf. Don’t underestimate your need to be organized - not everyone is cut out to oversee the details. Where can I help you?
It's in my blood!
I am the third generation in my family who have worked with folks just like you. My mother ran our high school activities office, and encouraged me to be involved. I learned by watching how to be in charge and to stay on top of details. Later, she ran the well-known Tulip Festival here in Skagit County. My grandmother organized the wedding guild at her church, making sure things ran smoothly for every bride.

I have organized small and large events for groups and individuals, given floral workshops, and created event-related floral designs. Call me to discuss my rates on hourly consultations, event flowers (with or without day-of-event services), or percentage-based fees for coordinating larger events.

Garden Design Consultations
With a minimum one hour spent in your space, I will provide you with
a plan to make your garden as beautiful as could be!
About Me
Built in me is the energy to embrace flowers and gardens and design, and event organizing.
I love wooden nautical things... old yacht clubs, wooden boats and
boat models, and messing around with sandpaper and paint or varnish.
I'm a huge fan of old movies (happy ones) and cozy murder mysteries.
I think I might probably try to mix chocolate, or coffee, or bananas with just about ANYTHING.
And for me, I'm basically all about the relationships. And my cats.
Floral Design
I love making beautiful floral arrangements
for all special events...
weddings, birthday parties,
holiday events, & more.
Because I am a "studio florist", not working out of a storefront but from my studio, I structure my work as follows:
Minimum floral order $75.00,
24 Hour Notice Required on most.
Deliveries almost always made between
12:00 Noon and 5:00 p.m. unless a special request has been made.
Local flowers lovingly used wherever possible on custom designs.
Repurposed, upcycled and vintage vases and containers used specifically.

Historically, florists have been called upon to help organize events as well as design the floral arrangements themselves.
I greatly enjoy coordinating events.
Garden Design
I come to you. For $175, I will come to your home garden and analyze it, listening to your preferences, with the final result being to give you a master plan to work off of for ideas, containing hand drawings, ideas we have discussed and/or referrals, within five business days of our consultation.
I greatly enjoy shopping with clients, picking out what might work, based on current availability in your local nursery .
$45 per shopping hour.
